Here are some comments from attendees of last year's retreat:
"The food was amazing!" - "I learned some very helpful information" - "Thanks so much for having this event" - "Our hosts were so kind and gracious" - "The mattress was like brand new"
Friday: The retreat starts with Friday night dinner followed by an opening session. We cap off the day with a time of fun and games.
Saturday: We will provide breakfast and lunch on Saturday and a variety of workshop sessions filled with discussions and interactive opportunities. Everything should be wrapped up by 3:30PM leaving the rest of the day for you to enjoy with your family and/or friends.
We encourage people to come Friday and stay overnight. However, if you need to go home Friday night, you are free to commute each day to the retreat. The cost for overnight accommodations at the camp adds only $5.00 to the price of the retreat.
Retreat Location: Once again we will be using Camp Ebenezer, a Polish Baptist camp located south of Fairview. Our hosts, Robert and Dorota Blank will be providing our meals and making us feel welcome.
What to Bring: Sheets & blankets or a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, and towels.
Registration: Please register and pay online. No registration payments will be taken at the retreat. A scholarship is available if the cost of the event is prohibitive for you.
Who should come: All current leaders of a McLane Life Group. Also, if you have led and group in the past and are considering leading again in the future. And...if you have never led a group in the past but would like to lead a group at McLane, we'd love to have you join us!
